Camera
Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G features a quad camera setup on the back with the primary lens of 64MP with an aperture of f/1.7 and closed-loop focus motor, an ultrawide lens of 8MP with an aperture of f/2.2 and 1150 Field of View, a depth sensor of 2MP with an aperture of f/2.4 and a macro lens of 2MP with an aperture of f/2.4. You can’t expect a good quality image from those 2MP macro and depth lens but you can tell your friends that you have a quad camera on your phone. This device is capable of recording 4@30fps and 1080p@30/60/120fps from the rear camera.
On the front, it has a 32MP camera f/2.4 which is capable of record 1080p@30fps only. It has different camera features like AI Color Portrait, Monochrome videos, and Dual-view video.

Design & Built Quality
There is no notable change in the design as compared with Reno4 Series. It has the same RenoGlow design at the back. This phone measure 159.7 x 73.2 x 7.6 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 173g. It has a rectangular camera module at the back which holds a quad camera with a flash. Also, it has an aluminum frame.
It has a small punch-hole cutout at the front which holds a 32MP selfie camera. Oppo has no specified protection on the front glass. It has a dual SIM-Slot but there is no slot for a micro-SD card. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor that looks modern. This device has two color options: Astral Blur and Starry Black.

Display
Reno5 Pro 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED panel with a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out. This display has a 90Hz refresh rate and users can choose between 60Hz and 90Hz refresh rates. Furthermore, this panel has ~402 PPI density and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has minimal bezels which help to maintain the screen-body ratio of ~88.6%. Also, this display has a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz. In short, it has a good display.
Performance and Memory
This device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ (7nm) and this is the first phone in South Asia with this chipset. It has four Cortex A55 cores @ 2.0 GHz and four Cortex A77 cores @ 2.6GHz and has Mali-G77 MC9 as GPU. This chipset has integrated a 5G modem and support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1
MediaTek Dimensity 1000+
Reno5 Pro 5G has only one variant of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage. Although this device has a high-end processor from MediaTek, it can’t perform as good as Xiaomi Mi 11, IQOO 7.

This new device has a 4350mAh battery in a two-cell configuration. It supports 65W SuperVooc 2.0 charging. If we go through Oppo’s advertisement then they claimed that 65W charger can charge this phone from 0-100% in just half an hour.
