Display and Design

The display is an interesting feature of this phone. iQOO 7 comes with a 6.62-inch OLED panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and touch sampling rate up to a crazy 1000Hz touch sampling rate. Now you can imagine how smooth gaming performance you will get from the device. It is HDR 10+ certified, has 1300 nits of maximum brightness, and ~398-PPI density. The center-aligned punch hole cut out on the front looks pleasing.

The handset measure 163.3 x 76.4 x 8.4mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 196g. It has a vertical camera bump that houses a triple camera setup and LED flash. The phone is available in two different color options: Solid Ice and Storm Black.

Camera

The iQOO 7 flaunts a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and OIS. It is followed by a 13MP ultrawide lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 120-degree field of view. In addition, there is a 2MP B&W sensor.

On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. From the rear camera, the phone is capable of recording 4K@30fps and 1080p@30fps whereas it can only record 1080p videos at only 30fps from the front camera.

Performance and Memory

Moving to the performance, the device packs a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset based on 7nm process technology. It has 1x 3.2GHz, 3x 2.42GHz, and 4x 1.8GHz Kryo 585 cores and Adreno 650 GPU. It runs Android 11 with Funtouch 11.1 on the top.

You can choose between 8GB or 12GB RAM. The 8GB RAM comes in 128GB or 256GB of internal storage while the 12GB variant comes with only a 256GB option. Unfortunately, there is no option to expand the storage.

Battery & Other Specs

The phone packs a 4400mAh battery that supports 66W of fast wired charging. According to the company, the 66W charger can fully charge the battery in just 30 minutes.

In terms of wireless connectivity, the iQOO 7 features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC. Also, it has USB Type-C 2.2, a single speaker, and an optical under-display fingerprint sensor.
