Huawei P40 5G was launched almost a year ago. Finally, Huawei unveiled the 4G variant of the device. It is identical to P40 5G except for the chipset. Here in this post, we will have a look at the specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Huawei P40 4G in Nepal.

Camera
The Huawei P40 4G comes with an excellent triple camera setup at the back. There is a 50MP primary lens with an aperture of f/1.9 and OIS. It is accompanied by a 16MP ultrawide with an aperture of f/2.4. The setup is completed by an 8MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.2, 3x optical zoom, and OIS. 4K and 1080p videos can be shoot at 30/60fps from the rear camera.
On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The front camera can also record 4k and 1080p videos at 30/60fps. There are some additional sensors for 3D face unlock.
Display and Design
Moving to the display, the phone sports a 6.1-inch OLED panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It has ~422 PPI density and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is a pill-shaped cutout at the front for the selfie camera and IR ToF sensor. Bezels and chin are minimal and look premium.
It measure 148.9 x 71.1 x 8.5mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 175g. There is a rectangular camera module at the back which houses a triple camera setup and a LED flash. Moreover, the device is IP-57 certified and comes with a hybrid card slot.

Performance and Memory
The P40 4G is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 990 chipset based on 7nm process technology. It has total 8 cores with 2x 2.86GHz & 2x 2.09GHz Cortex-A76 and 4x 1.86GHz Cortex A-55. Mali-G76 MP16 GPU handles the Graphics.
The phone is available with only one storage variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We can expand the Internal storage up to 256GB via Nano memory (uses a SIM slot).
Battery & Other Specs
Coming to the battery, The P40 4G has a smaller battery as compared with other smartphones these days. It comes with a 3800mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
The phone runs on Android 10 with EMUI at the top. Unfortunately, like other Huawei phones, it also lacks Google Play Service. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. Talking about the security, there is an Infrared face reorganization and optical under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is available in two color options: Dark Blue and Frost Silver.
