Design

The Sony a7C is just like a compact variant of the Sony A7 III. It has magnesium allow the body with a silver finish which makes it look and feel like plastic. It measures 4.88 x 2.80 x 2.35-inches and weighs 509 grams which makes it 19% smaller and 22% lighter than the Sony A7 III. The camera comes with a 28-60mm kit lens.

The viewfinder is now replaced by a viewfinder eyepiece in the top left corner of the body. The company has changed the display flipping mechanism on a7C, now the LCD display flips sideways through a vari-angle pivot that gives a wider range of view. More importantly, the camera has sensor-shift stabilization as we saw on iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Taking about video quality, the camera is capable of recording up to 8-bit 4k at 30fps. You can also record 1080p videos up to 120fps.
