Finally, Smart Talk Pvt. Ltd. has launched the OnePlus 9 in Nepal. It is the successor to the OnePlus 8 and got some major upgrades in display and camera. Let’s have a look at the specs, features, official price in Nepal, and availability of the Oneplus 9 in Nepal.

Oneplus 9 Overview:
Display and Design
Starting from the display, the Oneplus 9 comes with a 6.5-inches flat fluid AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate but it is not adaptive like we saw on the Pro model. It also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There is a left-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
The phone measure 160 x 73.9 x 8.1mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 180g. It has quite a similar camera bump at the back to the Pro model but only has three cameras. Also, it has a polymer frame instead of aluminum. The device comes in three different color options: Arctic Sky, Stellar Black, and Winter Mist.
Camera
As we mentioned earlier, Oneplus 9 has three cameras at the back. There is a 48MP Sony IMX689 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. It is followed by a 50MP ultrawide lens which is also manufactured by Sony. The Ultrawide lens has an aperture of f/2.2 and can be used as a macro lens. At last, there is a 2MP depth sensor.
On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. Taking about the video quality, the phone can record 8K@30fps, 4K@30/60fps, and 1080p@30/60/240fps from the rear camera. Meanwhile, it is only capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps from the front-facing camera.

Performance, Memory & Software
The company didn’t make any difference in chipset between pro and non-pro model. Oneplus 9 is also powered by the latest QUALCOMM Snapdragon 888 chipset based on 5nm process technology. Adreno 660 GPU handles the graphics.
The phone comes in two memory configurations: 8/128GB and 12/256GB. However, only 12/256GB model is available in Nepal. Like the pro mode, it also has new Cool Play cooling technology.
It runs on Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 on the top out the box. Since there were some issue with camera battery endurance, OnePlus has rolled a new update claiming improvement in the battery consumption, more polished camera experience, and other minor changes.

The Oneplus 9 is fueled by a 4500mAh battery. Like the pro model, it also supports the 65W of fast wired charging. If you remember, last year’s Oneplus 8 was missing the wireless charging. But this year, wireless charging is available with the Oneplus 9.
As per connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.1. Moreover, the phone has an optical under-display fingerprint sensor and Stereo speakers.
