Let’s start by talking on camera, Galaxy M12 comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. With 48MP main sensor of aperture f/2.0 followed by a 5MP ultrawide lens of aperture f/2.2 with 1230 field of view, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors each of aperture f/2.4. It can record 1080p videos at 30 fps only. We can take portrait images, slow-motion videos.
There is an 8MP selfie camera that is also capable of recording 1080p@30fps. We also get different features like selfie portrait, AI face detection.

Design and Display
There is a metallic back with micro motifs which provides good grip and doesn’t feel slippery. The square camera module looks elegant. Edges are curved and feel comfortable on the hand. The power button also works as a fingerprint sensor which is common these days. We get a triple card slot which is very necessary for budget phones.
Galaxy M12 sports a 6.5-inch PL LCD panel of resolution 720 x 1600 pixels with ~ 81.9 % screen to body ratio. This panel has ~270 PPI density and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is a small V-shaped notch at the top for the front-facing camera. But there are notable bezels and chin which not surprising.

Performance and Memory
There is no official info about its processor. Our source says, Galaxy M12 is powered by Exynos 850 with 8x 2GHz Cortex-A55. Graphics are handled by Mali-G52 MP1 GPU.
With Galaxy M12 we get three storage variants. The base variant is of 3GB RAM 32GB storage and the other two are 4GB RAM 64GB storage and 6GB RAM 128GB of storage. But only 4/64GB and 6/128GB variants are available in Nepal. As mentioned earlier, we can further expand the storage up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy M12 packs a huge 6,000mAh battery. The phone support fast wired charging of 15W via Type-C port. According to Samsung advertisement, it can provide 24 hours of web browsing at a full charge.
