Redmi 9 Power launched with 6000mAh battery, 48MP quad camera

Finally, Xiaomi Nepal has launched Redmi 9 Power in Nepal. It is a budget phone from Redmi which is replacing Redmi 9 Prime. The device doesn’t have much difference from Redmi 9 Prime. It has slightly improved cameras, high capacity battery etc.

Redmi 9 Power Price in Nepal

Let’s start by talking on camera, Redmi 9 Power flaunts quad camera at the back with a 48MP primary sensor. It is followed by a 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has 8MP selfie camera. The device is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps from both rear and front camera.

The Redmi 9 Power sports a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels which results in 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is a small waterdrop notch at the top of display. Bezels and chin are notable which is common in Budget smartphones. The rectangular camera module with vertically arranged cameras makes it look different from Redmi 9 Prime. Also the fingerprint sensor is now shifted to power button.

Redmi 9 Power Processor

The device is powered by Snapdragon 662 (11nm) SoC with Adreno 610 GPU. It’s not quite good as Helio G80 chipset for gaming. But the phone can handle some graphics intensive games like PUBG, COD in medium graphics. It is available with two storage variant of 4GB RAM 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM 128GB of storage.

The Redmi 9 Power features gigantic 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Moreover, the device has IR Blaster and LED notification which is rear in budget phones.

According to Xiaomi Nepal, the device will be shortly available in all Xiaomi authorized stores. The price of Redmi 9 Power in Nepal is NPR 18,999 for 4/64GB variant and NPR 20,999 for 4/128GB variant.
