Display and Design

Poco X3 NFC is one of the first phones to bring high refresh display in the budget price range. The phone sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is super responsive and feels smooth. The display has an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels which results in a 20:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, it has 450 nits of maximum brightness and ~395-PPI density.

There is a small center-aligned punch-hole cutout on the front which houses a front-facing camera. Also, it has quite minimal bezels but a noticeable chin. The circular camera bump at the back houses quad cameras and a LED flash. It has 9.4mm of thickness and weighs 215g.

Camera

The Poco X3 NFC flaunts a quad-camera setup at the back. It has a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.9. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide lens which has an aperture of f/2.2 and a 119-degree field of view. There are additional two 2MP macro and depth cameras for macro shots and depth data.

On the front, it has a 20MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The device can record 4k@30fps, 1080p@30/120fps, and 720p@960fps from the rear camera. Meanwhile, it is capable of recording 1080p videos at only 30fps from the front camera.

Performance and Memory

Moving to the performance, the phone is powered by QUALCOMM’s Snapdragon 732G chipset based on 8nm process technology. It features 2x 2.3GHz Gold and 6x 1.8GHz Silver Kryo 470 cores. Adreno 618 elite gaming GPU handles the graphics.

The device is available with only one RAM option of 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The 6GB of RAM is paired with either 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 based internal storage. But here in Nepal, only a 6/128GB model is available but you get 8/128GB models of regular Poco X3.

Although regular Poco X3 has a bigger 6000mAh battery, the POCO X3 NFC has a slightly smaller 5160mAh battery. It supports up to 33W of fast wired charging. According to the company, one full charge can provide up to 10 hours of gaming and 17 hours of video playback.

Coming to connectivity, the POCO X3 NFC supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and FM Radio. Also, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C 2.0 ports, a hybrid card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is available in two color options: Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray.
