Display and Design
Coolpad Cool 12A comes with a 6.3-inches IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels which results in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display has a nearly 273-PPI density with ~82.9% screen-to-body ratio. There is a small v-shaped notch at the top encloses a front-facing camera.
As compared with other entry-level smartphones, it has quite minimal bezels and chin. It measure 156.2 x 75.2 x 8.9mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 202.5g. The camera module at the back looks quite similar to Galaxy M12. It is available in three color options: Dream Black, Dream Blue, and Fantasy Silver.
Camera and Performance
The Cool 12A flaunts a dual-camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 16MP primary lens accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it has an 8MP selfie shooter. Taking about the video, the device can record 1080p videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.
Moving to the performance, Spreadtrum chipset powers the device which has PowerVR GE8300 as GPU. It comes in only one memory configuration of 3GB of RAM and 3GB of internal storage. You can also expand the storage via a microSD card.

Fueling the phone is a 4000mAh battery. As per connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and FM radio. Also, it has a USB Type-C 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
