Overview
Camera
Infinix Note 8i features a quad camera at the back with a 48MP primary lens. The primary lens is followed by a 2MP macro camera, 2MP depth sensor, and an AI lens. Except for the primary lens, all three lenses are useless. Getting a good quality ultrawide lens is way better than having those pointless macro and depth sensors. This device is capable of recording 2k@30fps from the rear camera.
Camera
On the front, it has an 8MP sensor with a dual-LED flash. From the front camera, this is capable of recording 1080p@30fps. I suggest you go with other smartphones for better camera quality.

Design & Built Quality
This device measures 171.4 x 77.77 x 8.9 mm (height x width x thickness). It has a gem cut design at the back with a rectangular camera module. Cameras are protected by gorilla glass to prevent scratching. Like other Infinix devices, this also has vertical Infinix branding at bottom of the phone.
It has a punch hole cut-out at the front for a selfie camera which looks modern and unique. With minimal bezels and a small chin, it has a ~82% screen-to-body ratio. Following the trend, Infinix included a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and triple card slot. It has three color options: Blue, Cray, and Green.

Display
Now it’s time for display, Infinix Note 8i got a huge 6.78-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel of resolution 720 x 1640 pixels. This panel has ~264 PPI density and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It has 480 nits of maximum brightness which is enough for normal usage. Its display is not good as other devices in a similar price range like Redmi Note 9.

Perfromance and Memory
Infinix Note 8i is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset which is the same chipset used in Infinix Note 8. This chipset has 2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 and 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55. Graphics are handled by Mali-G52 MC2.
This device is available in only one memory configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Storage can be expanded through a microSD card. Again, if you want a better gaming phone then you should be looking at Redmi Note 9 with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset.
Battery and Charging
Infinix Note 8i comes with a gigantic 5200mAh battery which supports wired charging up to 18W. This device can easily last for a day with heavy usage.
