Design and Built Quality
The device measures 171.2 x 77.6 x 9.4 mm(height x width x thickness). The rear panel has a glossy finish with a rectangular camera module. There is POVA branding below the camera bump. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the right-side of POVA branding. The phone comes with a triple card slot and a micro USB 2.0 port. Also, it has a dedicated Google Assistant button on the right frame of the phone.
Display
Taking about the display, The Tecno Pova sports a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel. It has a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and ~263-pixels density. 480 nits have been recorded as maximum brightness. There is a small left-aligned punch hole cut out for the front-facing camera. That being said, It has thin bezels but quite a noticeable chin. Also, there is a dual-LED flash on either side of the earpiece.

Camera
Moving to the camera, the device has a quad-camera setup at the back. The setup is led by a 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.9. There are two 2MP macro and depth sensors for macro shots and depth effect. The last sensor is an AI lens with a quad-LED flash. It can record 2k videos at 30 fps and 1080p videos also at 30fp from the rear camera.
On the front, the phone comes with an 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. As we mentioned earlier, it has a dual-LED flash on the front. We can record 1080p video at 30fps.

Performance and Memory
The Tecno POVA is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC based on 12nm process technology. It is a budget-gaming chipset that was used in Redmi 9 Prime and Poco M2. Graphics are handled by Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It runs on Android 10 with HiOS on the top.
The phone has different gaming features like Game Space and Game Model for better gaming performance. It is available with only one memory configuration of 60GB RAM and 128GB of storage. However, the device was launched with two storage variants in India. The storage can be further expanded via a microSD card.

6000mAh battery is what every gamer wants in their phone. The Tecno POVA did what they actually wanted. It also supports 18W of fast-charging via a micro USB port.
