Vivo has launched the Vivo Y33s in Nepal. It is a budget phone with entry-level specifications like an Helio G80 chipset, 5000mAh battery, LCD display, and so on. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and official price of the Vivo Y33s in Nepal.

Display and Design

In 2021 when you think about a budget phone, you must be expecting at least a Super AMOLED panel or 120Hz IPS panel. Here, Vivo Y33s is completely different. It comes with a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate which is unacceptable in a budget phone in 2021. Also, it has old fashioned waterdrop notch which we rarely see in budget phones.

However, Vivo has done a quite good job in the back design. It is available in two color options: Midday Dream and Mirror Black. A rectangular camera module on the top left corner houses a triple camera setup and an LED flash.

Nothing is interesting on the camera setup. It has a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It lacks an ultrawide lens which we get on every budget phone except budget phones from Vivo.

Completing the setup is a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras for macro and portrait shots. Similarly, there is a 16MP selfie snapper inside the waterdrop notch.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Vivo Y33s packs a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. We have already seen this chipset in different Xiaomi phones costing around INR 10,000. However, Samsung is also using this chipset in their budget phone.
