Finally, ZTE is making a comeback in the Nepali smartphone market with new devices. Alongside the budget and midrange phone, the company is all set to launch its premium flagship phone – the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, expected price, and availability of the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design

ZTE has provided a top-notch display on Axon 30 Ultra. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch flexible curved screen. One thing disappointing me here is the screen resolution, it has a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels instead of QHD+ resolution. Otherwise, the display has quite interesting specs, it has support for a 144Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 10-bit color depth.

The device has a curved glass back panel protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is 8.0mm thick and weighs 188g. There is a huge rectangular camera bump on the back housing a quad-camera, setup, Laser Detection Auto Focus, and a LED Flash. Unfortunately, it misses out on IP certifications which we often see in flagship phones. It is available in only Black color.

Camera

Moving on, you get a quad-camera setup on the back. There is a 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor with an aperture of f/1.6. It comes with OIS and has PDAF and Laser AF. For capturing ultrawide angle shots, the handset has a 64MP Samsung GW3 sensor which can take 120-degree shots.

It also has a 64MP standard Samsung GW3 sensor for taking portrait shots. Completing the setup is an 8MP (OIS) Periscope Telephoto Lens which supports 5x Optical Zoom and up to 60x Hybrid Zoom. Upfront, it has a 16MP selfie camera inside the punch hole cutout.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra packs Snapdragon 888 chipset with an integrated 5G modem. It features an eight-core CPU with a core clocked at 2.84Ghz, three cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and the remaining four cores clocked at 1.84Ghz. Graphics are handled by Adreno 660 GPU.

Users can choose between two storage configurations: 8/128GB and 12/256GB. It runs on MyOS11 on top of Android 11. For cooling, it has a state-of-the-art liquid cooling system. With dual speaker, dual smart PDA, DTS:X Ultra, Hi-Fi, 3 mic, and linear motor, the audio setup is excellent.

The phone gets fuel from a 4600mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. ZTE has claimed that the 65W charger can charge the battery from 0 to 100% in 45 minutes.
