After lots of leaks and rumors, ZTE has unveiled the ZTE Axon 30 5G in China. The phone comes with a second-generation under-display camera which is the highlighting point. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the ZTE Axon 30 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design
Here, ZTE Axon 30 5G comes with a massive 6.92-inch OLED display with a Full HD resolution. The panel has support for a 120Hz refresh rate and can reproduce up to 1B colors.
To make the front-facing camera invisible, ZTE has doubled (as compared with Axon 20) the PPI density above the selfie camera to 400PPI. It features a 7-layer structure that includes higher transmittance materials, a UDC Pro screen display chipset, and an ACE Circuit arrangement.
According to ZTE, these technologies allow more light to the camera sensor which results in better image quality. Further, the front-facing camera uses 4-in-1 binning capturing 2.24µm equivalent pixels.
On the back, the handset has a rectangular camera bump housing two circular modules and a LED flash. It has a glass back design but the frame is made up of plastic. Moreover, it is available in two color options: Black and Green.
Camera
Moving on, you get a quad-camera setup on the back. There is a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Unfortunately, it lacks OIS which we were expecting in this smartphone. For ultrawide angle shots, it has an 8MP lens with a 120-degree field of view.
Completing the setup is a pair of 5MP macro and 2MP depth cameras. Similarly, it has a 16MP selfie camera under the display. Further, you can also record 10-bit video from the rear camera.
Performance and Memory
Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. The chipset features an eight-core CPU with 3.2Ghz of peak clock speed. Graphics are handled by Adreno 650 GPU.
The phone is available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also has a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage but uses a SIM slot. Further, it runs on Android 11 with MyOS 11 on top.

ZTE Axon 30 5G starts at CNY 2,198 for the 6/128GB variant and goes up to 3,098 for the 12/256GB model. Its first sale will start on August 3 and will debut globally in September. We expect the ZTE Axon 30 5G to start at around NPR 49,998 if it launches in Nepal.
