Today, Vivo has launched a new budget 5G phone – the Vivo Y55 5G. It is similar to the recently launched Vivo Y55s 5G but brings a slightly smaller battery. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Vivo Y55 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design

Here, Vivo Y55 5G sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with an outdated waterdrop notch at the top. It comes with a Full HD+ resolution and supports only a 60Hz refresh rate.

Likewise, the handset comes with a plastic body with a rectangular camera module. It has a small “vivo” branding at the bottom left corner. Moreover, it is available in two different color options: Black and Blue.

Camera

Moving on to cameras, you get a triple camera setup on the back. Unfortunately, this triple-camera setup misses out on an ultrawide lens. The setup is led by a 50MP main sensor accompanied by a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras.

Similarly, it has an 8MP selfie snapper inside the notch. The phone comes with different modes such as portrait, night scene, panorama, dynamic photo, slow motion, time-lapse, and many more.

Performance and Memory

Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset. It is a 5G chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. The chipset has an eight-core CPU with 2.2Ghz of peak frequency. Moreover, the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU handles the graphics.

Currently, the device is available in only one memory configuration of 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also has a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage. Furthermore, it runs on Android 11 with Funtouch 12 on top.
