Display and Design
Here, Vivo Y21A comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel. It has an HD+ resolution and only supports a 60Hz refresh rate which is a little wired in a budget phone these days. Similarly, it features a waterdrop notch at the top that houses a selfie snapper.
The phone looks similar to the recently launched vivo Y21e. It has a rectangular camera module at the back that houses a dual-camera setup and a LED flash. Likewise, you get a “Vivo” branding at the bottom left corner. Moreover, it is available in two different color options: Midnight Blue and Damond GLow.
Camera
Nothing is interesting on the camera setup. It has a 13MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It lacks an ultrawide lens which we get on every budget phone except budget phones from vivo.
Completing the setup is a 2MP macro camera for a macro shot. Similarly, there is an 8MP selfie snapper inside the waterdrop notch. It has different modes like portrait, pano, live photo, and time-lapse.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, Vivo Y21A packs a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset based on 6nm technology. It was featured on Tecno Spark 8, ZTE Blade 11 Prime, and many other devices. The chipset has an octa-core CPU with 2.0Ghz of peak frequency and PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The handset comes with 4GB of RAM with additional 1GB of virtual RAM. It is paired with 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB using a MicroSD card.
