Vivo has launched a new entry level-smartphone in Nepal –the Vivo Y1s. The phone was already launched in India back in November 2020 and I think Vivo Nepal is so late with its launch in Nepal. Display and Design
Vivo Y1s comes with a 6.22-inch LCD screen with a nearly 89% screen-to-body ratio. It has an HD+ resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels resulting in a 19:9 aspect ratio. Further, it has a waterdrop notch at the top that houses a selfie camera.
The phone comes in two color options: Olive Black and Aurora Blue. It has a polycarbonate back which is very common on entry-level smartphones in Nepal. Moreover, it features a 3.5mm headphone jack but misses out on a fingerprint sensor.
Performance and Memory
Vivo Y1s is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It is a 12nm chipset having an eight-core CPU with up to 2.35GHz of maximum frequency. Similarly, it features PowerVR GE8320 GPU for handling graphics.
The handset is available with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Also, it features a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage up to 256GB. On the software front, it runs on FunTouch OS 10.5 on top of Android 10.
Camera
Moving on, you get a 13MP single rear-facing camera accompanied by a LED flash. It is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. Similarly, it flaunts a 5MP front-facing camera inside the notch.

Fueling the phone is a 4030mAh battery. Unfortunately, it lacks fast charging so it will take more than 2 hours for a full charge. Furthermore, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and FM Radio.
