Vivo has launched an entry-level smartphone in Thailand and Singapore. It is similar to the recently launched Vivo Y12s 2021. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, expected price, and availability of the Vivo Y12A in Nepal.

Display and Design
Here, Vivo Y12A comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch at the top. It has an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has quite noticeable bezels around the display.
The handset has a polycarbonate body with 2.5D curved edges for a better grip. There is a rectangular camera module on the back housing a dual-camera setup but Vivo has tried to show it as a triple camera setup. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the power button and Vivo claims that it can unlock the phone in just 0.23 seconds. It is available in two color options: Mint Green and Phantom Black.
Camera
As I mentioned earlier, you get a dual-camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 13MP main sensor that has AI capabilities. It is followed by a 2MP depth sensor for capturing depth data.
Upfront, it has a 8MP selfie snapper. You can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per seconds from both rear and front cameras.

Performance and Memory
The Vivo Y12A is powered by Snapdragon 439 Soc. It is a 12nm-based chipset with eight CPU cores having a clock speed up to 1.95Ghz. Handling the graphics is an Adreno 505 GPU.
Users get only one memory configuration of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. You can also expand the storage via an external microSD card.

Fueling the phone is a big 5000mAh battery that has support for 10W wired charging via the Micro USB Port. It also supports 5W reverse charging that allows you to charge other devices as well.
It runs on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11 on the top. Further, the device features 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
