Display and Design
Vivo V21e 5G has an identical display to V21e 4G. It comes with the same 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a waterdrop notch at the top which is a little disappointing. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Unfortunately, the display lacks HDR supports and a high refresh rate.
On the back, there is a rectangular camera module housing a dual-camera setup and a LED flash. It has a 3D curved back design which makes it comfortable to hold on hand. The device is available in two color options: Dark Pearl and Sunset Jazz. The Sunset Jazz is a little thicker and weighs more than the Dark Pearl options.
Camera
As I mentioned earlier, it has two camera sensors on the back. You don’t have to worry about the setup because Vivo has removed a 2MP macro which was there in standard V21e for naming it a triple camera phone.
The phone has a 64MP main sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. It is followed by an 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. Vivo has downgraded the selfie camera from 44MP to 32MP but OIS is still there.

Vivo V21e 5G is powered by Dimensity 700 chipset. It is based 7nm manufacturing process and has two Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.2Ghz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz. It comes with a built-in 5G model with support for dual 5G standby. Handling the graphics is Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The handset is available in single memory configurations of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. With extended RAM features, it can use 3GB of storage as RAM. Further, you can also use a microSD card for expanding storage but uses a SIM slot.

Fueling the phone is a 4000mAh battery with support for 44W Flash Charge. And you get a 44W charger inside the box. It runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 on top of Android 11.
Unfortunately, it has only one 5G band. The fingerprint sensor is placed under the front glass and it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
