Vivo has launched its S10-series in China. The series consists of two devices: S10 and S10 Pro. These devices shares similar specifications however, the pro model has a better rear camera. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Vivo S10 in Nepal.

Vivo S10 Overview:
Display and Design
Vivo S10 flaunts a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a big notch at the top for a dual selfie camera setup. The display has a Full HD+ resolution and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Also, it is HDR10+ certified display and has a contract ratio of 3000000:1. Further, it has coverage for 16 million colors and a 98% NTSC color gamut.
Vivo’s midrange phones are excellent at design. Likewise, Vivo S10 also has a slim and premium design. It has a 7.3mm thickness and weighs around 173g. Its photochromic back panel reacts to the change in light providing a unique-looking appearance.
The panel has a rectangular camera bump on the top left corner while the Vivo branding is placed on the bottom left corner. Moreover, it is available in four different color options: Fluorite Black, Limes, Gradient, and Velvet White.
Camera
Vivo has downgraded the primary sensor from 108MP to 64MP on the S10 as compared with its pro model. While an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera remain the same.
As I mentioned earlier, it has a dual-camera setup on the front. The setup consists of a 44MP primary sensor with AF and an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 105-degree field of view.
Taking about the video quality, you can record 4K videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras. Also, both cameras can record 1080p slow motion videos. Other features include night scenes, portraits, dynamic photos, AR cute shooting, and many more.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, Vivo S10 packs MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G chipset based on 6nm technology. It is an octa-core chipset with four Cortex-A78 cores (@2.6Ghz) and four Cortex-A55 cores (@2.0Ghz). Handling the graphics is Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
The handset is available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM where the 8GB variant is paired with 128GB or 256GB storage and the 12GB model comes with 256GB storage. Similarly, it runs on OriginOS 1.0 on top of Android 11.
Rest of the Specs
While making the phone slim and light, Vivo has to compromise with the battery capacity. The phone packs a 4050mAh battery which is considered as small in 2021. However, Vivo has provided 44W fast charging so that you charge you battery quickly whenever you battery goes down.
It features an optical under-display fingerprint sensor but misses on a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, it supports 5G, (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.

Vivo S10 Price in Nepal and Availability
Vivo S10 will be available for pre-order from July 15 and go on sale from July 23 in China. It starts at CNY 2,799 and goes up to 2,999 depending upon the variant you choose. We expect the Vivo S10 to start at NPR 59,999 if and when it launches in Nepal.
