Tecno Camon 18 Premier sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a tiny center-aligned punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with a Full HD+ resolution. Further, it has 500 nits of typical brightness.
The handset has a boxy design with a noticeable vertical camera module. It is 8.15mm thick and looks like a typical mid-range phone. Similarly, it is available in two different color options: Polar Night and Vast Sky.

On the back, you get a flagship-grade triple camera setup. There is a 64MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.6 but it lacks OIS. However, Tecno has equipped the 12MP ultrawide lens with gimbal OIS which we rarely see in any smartphone.
The last lens is an 8MP periscope lens with OIS and it supports 5x optical zoom and 60x hybrid zoom. Upfront, it has a 32MP selfie camera inside the punch hole cutout. You get different interesting camera features with this device like night portrait video mode, portrait video bokeh mode, and super night mode.
Performance and Memory
Tecno Camon 18 Premier is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G96 chipset based on 12nm technology. It comes with an octa-core CPU having 2.05GHz if the maximum frequency and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, it runs on Android 11 with HIOS 8.0 on top.

Fueling the phone is a 4750mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via a Type-C 2.0 port. Tecno claims that the 33W charger included inside the box can charge the phone from 0-64% in just 30 minutes.
Despite having an AMOLED panel, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and FM Radio.
