Tecno has launched the Tecno Camon 17 series in India. Tecno Camon 17 series includes 17, 17 Pro and 17P. However, the company has launched the first two devices in India. Let’s have a look at the specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Tecno Camon 17 Pro in Nepal.

Display and Design

Here, Tecno Camon 17 Pro has a large 6.8-inch screen with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. The display has a Full HD+ resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It has quite minimal bezels around the display.

The handset measures 168.9 x 77 x 9 mm (height x width x thickness). It has a pill-shaped camera bump at the back with a “CAMON” branding at the bottom left-side. It is available in two color options: Blue and Silver.

Moving on, there is a quad-camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 64MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. It has 0.7µm pixels size and supports PDAF. It is capable of 4k@30fps but lacks EIS. You get an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.3 aperture and 119-degree Field of View.

Completing the setup is a pair of 2MP depth and monochrome cameras. Upfront, it has a 48MP selfie camera which sounds great. The front camera is only capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.

That being said, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G95 chipset. It is a 12nm chipset having eight cores CPU with a clock speed up to 2.05Ghz. It features a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU for handling graphics.

The handset is available with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage. You also get a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding storage. Similarly, it runs on HIOS 7.6 on top of Android 11.

The fingerprint sensor is placed on the power button which is very common in budget smartphones. It has both a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speaker setup.
