Display and Design
Starting with the display, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 comes in two display sizes and resolutions: 1.2-inch, 396x 396 pixels, and 1.4-inch, 450 x 450 pixels. The display is circular and has smaller bezels (non-rotating) than Watch 4 Classic. Further, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX+.
It comes in either 40mm or 44mm cases. The 40mm model weighs around 25.9g whereas the 44mm model weighs around 30.3g. Instead of using a stainless steel frame, Samsung has used an aluminum case for price cutting. Moreover, it is 5ATM and IP68 certified.
Performance, Memory & Software
Finally, Samsung has replaced its old Exynos 9110 chipset with a new SoC. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is powered by a new Exynos W920 chipset based on 5nm technology. The chipset features a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.6Ghz. Further, Graphics are handled by Mali-G68 GPU.
It is available with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. On the software front, it runs on Android Wear OS with One UI Watch 3 skin on top. The new operating system brings battery life improvement, app loading speed, and better animation.
Health Tacking Features
The watch comes with Samsung BioActive Sensor. It is a combination of three different sensors such as optical heart rate, electrical heart, and bioelectrical impedance analysis. With these sensors, you can measure PPG (detecting volume and blood flow), ECG (checking to hear rhythm and electrical activity), and BIA (method of assessing your body compositing such as body fat).
Samsung has improved the sleeping tracking on the watch 4. Now, it comes with snoring detection, continuous blood, and oxygen tracking while sleeping snoring detection, continuous blood, and oxygen tracking while sleeping. Moreover, it can detect your physics activity and supports more than 90 exercises.

The 40mm model feature a 247mAh battery whereas the 44mm model has a bigger 361mAh battery. Both models support WPC-based wireless charging. It can last up to 40 hours on a single full charge and takes around 2 hours for a full charge.
Similarly, it has support for 4G LTE (LTE model only), (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi b/g/n, built-in GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. The watch is available in two different color options: Black and White. In addition, the 44mm model also has a Green color option and the 40mm model is also available in the Pink color option.
