Samsung Galaxy F23 5G Overview:

Display and Design

Samsung has downgraded the AMOLED display to an IPS LCD panel on the F23 5G. However, the refresh rate is bumped from 90Hz to 120Hz which is a point to be noticed. The display size has also increased from 6.4-inch to 6.6-inch. It still features a notch but the U-shaped notch is replaced by a V-shaped notch.

Samsung Galaxy F23 Design and Display

Both the back panel and frame on the Samsung Galaxy F23 are made up of plastic. Its back panel design looks similar to the Galaxy M52 5G. Likewise, the device is 8.4mm thick and weighs 198g. Furthermore, it is available in two color options: Aqua Blue, and Forest Green.

Talking about the cameras, there is a total three-camera at the backside. The main camera has a 50MP sensor having f.1.8 aperture. Similarly, there is an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera.

Samsung Galaxy F23 Rear Camera Setup

Upfront, you get an 8MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. Moreover, the handset can only record up to 1080p@30fps video from both rear and front cameras.

Performance and Memory

Samsung Galaxy F23 is powered by the Snapdragon 750G chipset. It is a 5G chipset having an eight-core CPU with 2.2Ghz of peak frequency. Similarly, it features Adreno 619 GPU for handling graphics. You can enjoy some games like PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile in a medium setting without any lag.

The device is available in two storage configurations: 4/128GB and 6/128GB. It comes with a dedicated MicroSD card slot for expanding storage up to 1TB and also has RAM virtual expansion feature up to 12GB.

On the software front, it runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top. Samsung has promised 2 years of major OS updates and 4 years of security patches updates with the new Galaxy F23 5G.

Rest of the Specs

The phone features a 5000mAh battery which is another downgrade from Galaxy F22 (6000mAh). However, the charging speed is improved as it supports up to 25W charging speed.
