Samsung Galaxy A73 comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. It comes with a Full HD+ resolution and has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Likewise, the display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Its peak brightness is 800 nits and features a punch-hole design for housing a selfie camera.
Design-wise, there isn’t a huge difference compared with the Galaxy A72. There is a rectangular camera module housing a quad-camera setup and a LED flash. It comes with an IP67 dust/water resistant rating which none of its competitors has. Moreover, it is available in three color options: Gray, Mint, and White.
Camera
Coming to the cameras, you get four cameras on the rear side. There is a 108MP primary camera that has an f/1.8 aperture that is optically stabilized. Its second lens is a 12MP ultrawide lens that has a 123-degree field of view.
At last, you get two 5MP macro and depth cameras for taking macro and portrait shots. Around the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera with a 1/2.8-inch sensor. Talking about videography, it can record up to 4k@30fps from both rear and front cameras.
Performance
Powering the Samsung Galaxy A73 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset. It is a 5G chipset based on a 6nm process that features 2.4Ghz of peak clock speed. Similarly, Adreno 642L GPU handles the graphics.
The handset is available with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It also has a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage but it uses a SIM slot. On the software side, it boots on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.
