Samsung has launched the Galaxy A52s 5G with some changes over the standard Galaxy A52. Display and Design
Starting from design, Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has the same 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with a Full HD resolution. But the new thing is the refresh rate, this panel has support for a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The phone looks identical to the regular Galaxy A52. There is a rectangular camera module on the top left corner of the back panel with a Samsung branding on the bottom. It retains a hybrid card slot which means you can either use two SIMs or a SIM and a memory card. It also has IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. Moreover, it is available in four different color options: Awesome Black, Awesome Mint, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.
Camera
The camera setup and all image sensors remain unchanged. There is a 64MP primary sensor with OIS leading the quad-camera setup. It is accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide lens which can capture photos having a 123-degree field of view. In addition, it has a pair of 5MP macro and depth cameras for macro and portrait shots.
Similarly, the front-facing remains identical. It has a 32MP selfie snapper inside the center-aligned punch-hole cutout. You can record up to 4k videos from both the rear and front camera.
Performance and Memory
This is another where you find the difference between Galaxy A52s and A52. The Samsung Galaxy A52s is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset instead of a Snapdragon 720G (In Nepal). Thanks for this new chipset which allowed Samsung to include a 5G connection in this device and also brings some noticeable change in performance.
The handset comes in three different memory configurations: 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB. Further, it runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top.

A 4500mAh battery fuels the device. Finally, Samsung has included a 25W fast charger inside the box, which is another change from Samsung Galaxy A52 (it also supports 25W charging but has only a 15W charger inside the box).
The phone also has an optical under-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speaker setup. Furthermore, it features 5G, (dual-band) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC (market dependent), and USB Type-C 2.0 port.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G brings some good upgrades over its predecessor. However, it is over NPR 10,000 more expensive than Galaxy A52 but definitely worth its price. Still, if you want good gaming smartphones then there are better options available in the market like Poco F3 GT, OnePlus Nord 2, and Realme GT Neo 2.
