Performance and Memory
The Samsung Galaxy A33’s exact processor hasn’t been revealed by the company. Samsung has only shared that the processor has an octa-core CPU with 2.4Ghz of peak clock speed. But looking at the processor specs, we assume it to be Exynos 1280 chipset.
The phone brings up to 8GB RAM with 6GB being the base option. Likewise, you can go up to 256GB storage while the base 6GB model only has a 128GB option. However, both model supports MicroSD card thorough which can expand the storage up to 1TB.
Design and Display
Upfront, there is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a U-shaped notch. It comes with a Full HD+ resolution and supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate.
The handset has a similar design to its siblings. It has a rectangular camera module and “Samsung” branding at the bottom of the back panel. The body is IP67 certified as it can last for 30 minutes under 1.5m depth water. Furthermore, it is available in four different color options: Black, Blue, White, and Peach.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G flaunts a quad-camera setup on the back. The setup has a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. Similarly, there is an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 123-degree field of view.
It has a 5MP macro camera for taking macro shots and a 2MP depth sensor for capturing data for portrait shots. Moreover, it has a 13MP selfie snapper inside the notch.
Battery and Other Specs
Backing the phone is a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Unfortunately, it ships without a charger inside the box. On the software front, it runs on Android 12 out of the box with OneUI 4.1 on top. Moreover, the fingerprint sensor is available under the front glass and it still misses out on stereo speakers.
