Display and Design

The device sports a 6.5-inch TFT LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and ~270 PPI density. There is a V-shaped notch at the top which holds the front-facing camera. It has noticeable bezels and a chin.

The phone measure 164.2 x 76.1 x 9.1mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 205g. Samsung has provided a similar camera to Galaxy S21-series with the device. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the power button. Furthermore, it has a hybrid card slot, a Type C 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Camera

Moving to the camera, there is no huge upgrade from its predecessor. The Galaxy A32 5G comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. The setup includes a 48MP primary lens with an aperture of f/1.8. It is followed by an 8MP ultrawide lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 123-degree field of view.

The setup is completed by a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor for macro and portrait shots. On the front, we get a 13MP selfie camera f/2.2.

The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 5G chipset based on 7nm process technology. It is an octa-core processor which has 2x 2.0GHz Cortex-A76 and 6x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55. Mali-G57 MC3 GPU handles the Graphics.

Currently, the phone has been launched with only 4GB RAM variants. The 4GB ram is paired with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. You can expand the storage up to 1TB via a microSD card but uses a SIM slot.

Coming to the battery, a gigantic 5000mAh battery fuels the device. The device supports a wired fast charging up to 15W via Type-C port.

It supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. Samsung has provided the latest Android 11 with One UI 3.0 at the top. The phone is available in four color options: Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.
