Display and Design
Here, Samsung Galaxy A22 5G sports a 6.6-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Unfortunately, it uses a TFT panel instead of an sAMOLED panel which is available in Galaxy A22 4G. It has support for a 90Hz refresh rate with an Infinity-V notch at the top.
The device is thick and heavy as compared with its LTE version. It measures 9mm in thickness and weighs around 203g. It has quite a similar design to the recently launched Galaxy M62. There is a left-aligned camera bump hosing three cameras and a LED flash. It is offered in four color options: Gray, Mint, Violet, and White.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the handset offers MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It is a 5G chipset based on 7nm technology with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2Ghz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz. Mali-G57 MC2 handles the graphics.
The base variant of the device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can go up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage on the top model. If you want more storage, then there is a microSD card slot for expanding storage.

Coming to the camera, there is a 48MP main sensor accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. We are missing a macro camera and the ultrawide lens is downgraded from 8MP to 5MP as compared with Galaxy A22 4G. Upfront, it has 8MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.
The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It features 5G, (dual-band) Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby Atmos Audio, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
