A few days back, Samsung has launched its cheapest 5G phone right now – the Galaxy A13 5G. Like other budget phones, its selling point is 5G connectivity while other specs are decent for the price. Display & Design

The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel that supports for 90Hz refresh rate. It has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, the panel has ~270-pixels density and ~81.1% screen to body ratio. Further, it has an Infinity-V design for a selfie camera while looks outdated these days.

The device is 8.8mm thick and weighs around 195g. It has a plastic back with a square camera module that houses a triple-camera setup and a LED flash. The phone also has a triple card slot, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C 2.0 port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, it is available in black color only.

Camera

Moving to the cameras, there is a triple-camera setup at the back. The setup is led by a 50MP primary sensor with an aperture of 2.0. It is accompanied by a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras for macro and portrait shots.

Upfront, it flaunts an 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of 2.2. Moreover, It can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.

Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy A13 5G packs MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset. It is a 7nm-based chipset having an octa-core CPU with 2.2Ghz of peak brightness. Further, graphics are handled by Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

Currently, the handset is available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of single memory configuration. Fortunately,  it has a dedicated MicroSD card slot for expanding storage. On the software front, it runs on Android 11 with One UI skin on top.
