The Narzo 30A comes with a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The panel has ~270-pixel density and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and has 570 nits of maximum brightness. There is a waterdrop notch at the top for the selfie camera. The phone has Eye Protection Model to control blue light emission.
The device comes with a dual-tone back finish. It measure 164.5 x 75.9 x 9.8mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 205g. The square camera module holds dual cameras and a LED flash. There is a NARZO branding just below the camera bump and fingerprint sensor on the right-side of that branding. It also has a triple card slot, Type-C 2.0 port, and 3.5mm headphone jack just like in Narzo 30 Pro 5G.

The phone has a dual-camera setup at the back. The setup is led by a 13MP primary AI camera with an aperture of f/2.2. It is followed by 2MP Black and White portrait lens. It also has different features like Super Nightscape mode, Flamingo, Modern Gold, and Cyberpunk filters. Moreover, the phone has HDR, Panorama, Slow-motion, and other interesting features. It is capable of recording 1080p@30fps from the back camera.
There is an 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. 1080p videos at 30fps can be recorded from the front camera. It also has different features like HDR, AI beautification, portrait mode, and so on.

The Narzo 30A features the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It has 2x 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 and 6x 1.8GHz Cortex-A55. Graphics are handled by Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. Redmi Note 9 was also powered by the same chipset.
The device is available with two memory configurations: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. It runs on Android 10 with Realme UI 1.0 on the top.
