Popular Moto vlogger and YouTuber Rajkumar Thapa Magar have been arrested for promoting the illegal online betting site 1xBet through his youtube channel.
He was arrested from Kapan on Friday by a team of Nepal Police from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office. According to them, Rajkumar Thapa is arrested because of his promotional content on OneXBet through his Youtube Channel.
Initial investigation by Police has revealed that the real name of Raja Kumar Thapa is Raj Kumar Tamang. Now, he has been sent to the district police complex in Kathmandu for further investigation.
A few days back, eight other YouTubers and artists were also arrested for promoting illegal online betting websites. Promoting and using such websites and application is illegal in Nepal.
Rajkumar Thapa Magar is a popular moto vlogger in Nepal with well over 868K subscribers on Youtube. He also has a good fan following on other social media platforms like Tiktok, FaceBook, and Instagram.
