After 3 months of its global launch, Poco M4 Pro 5G has made its debut in India. It is launched as the successor to one of the most successful Poco M3 Pro 5G. The handset is based on the Redmi Note 11 launched in China at the end of October 2021. Display and Design
Here, Poco M4 Pro 5G sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels. The display has support for a 90Hz refresh rate and features a 240Hz touch sampling rate. To be honest, I prefer 60Hz AMOLED over a 90Hz LCD display. Further, it features a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera.
Poco has done some changes in the design as compared with Redmi Note 11. Poco M4 Pro 5G has a big island on the back panel like Poco M3. It consists of a rectangular camera module and “POCO” branding. It also has IP-53 certification which makes it splash resistant. Moreover, the phone is available in three color options: Power Black, Cool Blue, Poco Yellow.
Camera
Moving forward, you get the same 50MP primary sensor leading the dual camera setup. Sadly, we are missing both macro and depth cameras here. The primary sensor is accompanied by the same 8MP ultrawide lens which is a god upgrade from its predecessor.
Upfront, it features the same 16MP selfie snapper which can record up to 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. Talking about the rear camera video resolution, you can only go up to 1080p@30fps. Other features include slow motion, panorama, time-lapse, portrait, and so on.

Under the hood, Poco M4 Pro 5G packs Dimensity 810 chipset which features 5G connectivity. The chipset has an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4Ghz and the remaining six cores are Cortex-A55 having frequency 2.0GHz. Similarly, graphics are handled by Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The handset is available with 4/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with 64/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. You can also expand the storage up to 1TB using a MicroSD card. On the software front, it ships with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Fueling the phone is a big 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. According to the company, the 33W charge fully charge the 5000mAh battery in just 59 minutes.
The phone retains stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, it features 5G, 4G LTE, (2.4/5GHz) Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, IR Blaster, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 port.

Similarly, its 6/128GB and 8/128GB versions are priced at INR 16,999 and INR 18,999 respectively. We expect the Poco M4 Pro 5G price in Nepal to start around NPR 24,999 when it launches in Nepal.
