Design and Display
Reno 8 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that has a punch hole cutout on the top center. Its resolution is Full HD+ and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness is 950 nits and supports HDR10+ contents. Moreover, there is Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the display.
The back panel of the phone is made up of glass which is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and its frames are of aluminum. Its camera bump is melted to the back panel and the “Oppo” branding is placed on the bottom left corner of the back pane. Furthermore, you can choose from three diffeerent color options: Black, Silver, and Mint.
Camera
Moving to the cameras, the device flaunts a triple camera setup on the back. The setup has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and there is no OIS. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 112-degree field of view. At last, there is a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
Similarly, you get a 32MP selfie snapper inside the notch that has an f/2.4 aperture. For the back camera, you can record video of resolution up to 4k at 30fps. Likewise, it can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps only.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chipset that is based on 5nm technology. The processor has an octa-core CPU that features four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.85GHz clock speed and the other four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0Ghz. Moreover, it has Mali-G610 MC6 for handling graphics.
The handset comes with up to 12GB RAM LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. To keep the temperature in control, it features a Super Crystalline graphite cooling system that has a 32928mm² total heat dissipation area. Furthermore, it runs on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 skin on top.
