Design and Display

Oppo K9 5G comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has a left-aligned punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. It comes with two modes: vivid mode and soft mode. In vivid mode, it has coverage of 96.7% DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% sRGB coverage while the soft mode has only 72.51% DCI-P3 color gamut but 100% sRGB coverage.

The handset measure 159.1 x 73.4 x 8.0 mm and weighs around 172g. It has a rectangular camera module on the back that houses a triple camera setup and a LED flash. The phone is available in two different color options: Black and Gradient.

Camera

The Oppo K9 5G flaunts a triple camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 64MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7. It is accompanied by pair of 8MP ultrawide (f/2.2) and 2MP macro cameras. It has different interesting features like a night scene, time-lapse, portrait, cute shooting, multi-scene video, slow Action, and so on.

Upfront, there is a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. It also has different features like panorama, portrait, time-lapse, AI ID photo, and many more.

Under the hood, Oppo K9 5G packs a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 768G 5G SoC. It has an octa-core chip with CPU frequency up to 2.8Ghz and Adreno 620 GPU. It runs on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box.

The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot. To maintain the heat, it got 3D liquid-cooling system. It consists of a copper plate, VC liquid-cooled heat sink, and multi-layer thermal conductive graphite sheet for heat dissipation.
