Yesterday, Oppo launched two new devices in India – Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G. However, these devices are not completely new to the market as they are rebranded Oppo Reno7 and Oppo Reno7 Z 5G respectively. In this article, we will be looking at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Oppo F21 Pro in the USA.

Oppo F21 Pro Overview:
Design and Display
Oppo F21 Pro comes in two color options: Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black. The first one has fiberglass leather and the last one comes with a frosted glass back. Also, the 5G model has the standard frosted glass back while their look identical to each other. Similarly, F21 Pro has a thickness of 7.54 mm(Orange)/ 7.49 mm (Black) and weighs 175g. Moreover, it is IPX4 certified which means it can handle some minor splashes.
The handset has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate which is 30Hz more than the F19 Pro. Likewise, it also supports up to 180Hz touch sampling rate and has Full HD+ resolution. This 8-bit display can go up to 800 nits of peak brightness and supports 97% NTSC and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Performance and Memory
Oppo F21 Pro runs on Snapdragon 680 chipset while its 5G variant packs a slightly better 695 processor. Considering its price, this is a weak processor which has been an old story in almost every F-series device. The SD 680 chipset has an octa-core processor with 2.4GHz of maximum frequency and Adreno 610 GPU.
The device comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 storage. It features up to 5GB of RAM expansion and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. Moreover, it runs on Android 12 with Color OS 12.1 on top.

Camera
The camera is the main selling point of every F-series device. But I am not impressed with the camera setup on the new Oppo F21 Pro. There is a triple camera setup at the back and misses out on an ultrawide lens. The main camera has a 64MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. Likewise, it is supported by a pair of 2MP microscope and Mono lenses.
Upfront, it has a 32MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. This IMX709 sensor from Sony comes with an 85-degree field of view. Moreover, you can record up to 1080p@30fps videos from both rear and front cameras.
Other Features
Oppo F21 Pro packs a 4500mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. Likewise, it features an optical under-display fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone jack but misses out on stereo speakers.
