Display and Design

The Oppo A94 features a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a regular 60Hz refresh rate. If we see other phones in a similar price category, they are featuring a high refresh rate display. Oppo claims that the display has 800 nits of maximum brightness. It has ~409-PPI density and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

There is a small left-aligned punch-hole cutout that holds a front-facing camera. The phone measure 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 172g. The camera module at the back looks similar to Oppo F19-series. It is available in two color options of Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black.

The phone comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. It is led by a 48MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and 119-degree filed of view. In addition, there are two 2MP macro and depth sensor which are primarily used for macro shots and depth data.

On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4. Taking about the video, the phone can is capable of recording 4K@30fps and 1080p@30/120fps from the rear camera. From the front camera, it can only record 1080p videos at 30fps.

Coming to performance, Oppo A94 is powered by a Helio P95 chipset. It features 2x 2.2GHz Cortex-A75 & 6x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 CPU and PowerVR GM9446 GPU. It runs on Android 11 based on ColorOS 11.1.

The phone is available in only one memory configuration: 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can also expand the storage via a microSD card (dedicated slot).
