Oppo has added a new A-series device in China – the Oppo A56 5G. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Oppo A56 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design

Starting with the display, Oppo A56 5G has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with an old-fashioned waterdrop notch at the top. Also, the panel has only HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Similarly, it has quite noticeable bezels around the display.

The handset is 8.4mm thick and weighs around 189.5g. It has a rectangular camera module on the top left corner of the plastic back panel. Further, it is available in three different color options: Black, Blue, and Purple.

Oppo has removed a 2MP sensor as compared to its predecessor which means it only has a dual-camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 13MP main sensor which is accompanied by a 2MP depth camera. Similarly, you get an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. Moreover, it can record up to 1080p@30fps from both rear and front cameras.

Performance and Memory

The Oppo A56 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. It is a 5G chipset that has an octa-core CPU with 2.2Ghz of maximum clock speed. Graphics are handled by Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The phone is available in China with 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage. You can also expand the storage using an external MicroSD card.

Backing the phone is a 5000mAh battery that only supports 10W charging. On the software, it runs on ColoroS 11.1 on top of Android 11. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, and so on.
