A few months back, Oppo launched the Oppo A54 in different countries including Nepal. Now, the company has launched the Oppo A54s as its successor with some changes in display, processor, and camera. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Oppo A54s in Nepal.

Display and Design

Here, Oppo has increased the screen size from 6.1-inch to a huge 6.52-inch panel. However, it still uses an IPS LCD technology and supports only a 60Hz refresh rate. Also, the panel has the same HD+ resolution and features a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera.

Oppo A54s Design and Display

Design-wise, the phone looks similar to its predecessor. Its back panel is made up of plastic which has a rectangular camera module and “Oppo” branding at the bottom right corner. Moreover, it is available in two different color options: Black and Blue.

Camera

Moving on, you get a triple camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 50MP primary sensor which is an upgrade from the 13MP sensor. Similarly, it flaunts a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras which means it misses out on an ultrawide lens.

Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie camera which is a downgrade from its predecessor. Moreover, you can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Oppo A54s is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. It is a 12nm-based chipset with an octa-core CPU frequency ranging from 1.8-2.3Ghz. Similarly, PowerVR GE8320 GPU handles the graphics. On the software front, it runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. Further, it features 4GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage.

Fueling the phone is a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via a Type-C port. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack but misses out on a stereo speakers setup. Furthermore, it has support for 4G LTE, (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
