Oppo has launched its latest budget phone in China – the Oppo A36. It comes with a big battery, a new chipset, and a high refresh rate display. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Oppo A36 in Nepal.

Display and Design

Starting with the display, Oppo A36 sports a 6.56-inch panel. It uses IPS LCD technology that has an HD+ resolution. Similarly, it has support for a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel supports 96% NTSC, 100% DCI-P3 color gamuts, and 16.7 million colors. Moreover, it has 600 nits of peak brightness and features a punch-hole design for a selfie camera.

Oppo A36 Design and Display

The handset has a plastic back panel and plastic frame. It is 8.4mm thick and weighs 185g. Look-wise, it looks similar to Oppo A56 5G. Moreover, customers can choose between two different color options: Black and Blue.

Camera and Performance

At the back, the phone has a dual-camera setup. The setup is led by a 13MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor for taking portraits shots. Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie shooter inside the punch hole.

Oppo A36 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is the same chipset featured in the recently launched Realme 9i and Vivo Y32. The phone is available with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also has a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage.

Fueling the phone is a 5000mAh battery that has support for only 10W charging. On the software front, it runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11 on top. Similarly, it features 4G LTE, (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
