After, India and US, OnePlus Nord CE 5G has made its way to Nepal as promised by OnePlus. It has been launched as a premium budget phone with 5G connectivity and decent specs. OnePlus Nord CE 5G Overview
Display and Design
As leaks suggested, the Onellus Nord CE 5G sports a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels resulting in a 20:9 ratio and 410 PPI density. It has support for SRGB and P3 colors with different modes like Ambient display, Dark Mode, and Reading Mode. There is a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner that encloses a front-facing camera.
The handset is quite thin and light. It has a 7.9mm thickness and weighs only 170g. Its design is quite similar to the original OnePlus Nord with a pill-shaped camera bump. There is a center-aligned “OnePlus” logo on the rear panel. It is available in three different color options: Blue Void, Charcoal Ink, and Silver Ray.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, OnePlus Nord CE 5G packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset based on 8nm technology. It is a 5G chipset with 2.95Gbps of maximum download speed. The chipset features an octa-core CPU with a clock speed up to 2.2Ghz and it has Adreno 619 GPU for handling graphics.
It runs on Oxygen OS 11 on top of Android 11. You won’t any ads or unnecessary app on this device like MIUI. The handset is available in three RAM configurations – 6/8/12GB paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. However, only 8/128GB and 12/256GB variants are available in Nepal. The RAM used here is LPDDR4x whereas the storage is UFS 2.1 and, to be honest, I was hoping for at least UFS 2.2.

Camera
Moving on, there is a triple camera setup on the back. The setup is led by a 64 megapixels main sensor with an f/1.79 aperture of the pixel size of 1.4µm. Unfortunately, it misses out on OIS but you get EIS for stabilization of videos. You get an 8MP ultrawide angle lens with a 119-degree field and it also supports EIS.
Completing the setup is a 2MP mono lens with an aperture of f/2.4. Upfront, it has a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture and 1.0µm pixels size. Thanks OnePlus for providing EIS on the front camera as well which we rarely see in budget phones.
Taking about the video quality, the phone is capable of recording 4k videos at 30fps and 1080p videos up to 120fps from the rear camera. You can also get super slow motion 720p footage at 240 frames per second. From the front camera, you can only record 1080p at 30fps and 60fps.
Rest of the Specs
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is fueled by a 4500mAh battery. It supports Warp Charge 30T Plus which can charge the phone from 0 to 70 percent in just 30 minutes. Since it is using an AMOLED panel, the fingerprint sensor is placed beneath the front glass.
Further, it features 5G, (dual-band) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and Type-C 2.0 port. Unfortunately, it lacks a stereo speaker setup but got a 3.5mm headphone jack which was missing on the original OnePlus Nord.
