OnePlus 9T to bring 108MP Hasselblad Quad Camera and ColorOS

It’s been a while since OnePlus announced their last premium midrange device. Now, some tipsters have confirmed that the company is working on the OnePlus 9T. However, there won’t be any Pro model just like OnePlus 8T series. In this post, we will have a look at the latest leaks, rumors, and expected price and launch date of the OnePlus 9T.

Software & Processor

The major change on the OnePlus 9T as compared with other OnePlus devices is its UI. OnePlus has merged with OPPO and now we will see ColorOS on OnePlus devices. The OnePlus 9T will run on “ColorOS 11 Global”.

Although Qualcomm has launched the Snapdragon 888+, we will see a regular 888 chipset on the OnePlus 9T. Other companies like Asus, Motorola, Honor, Vivo, and Xiaomi have already confirmed that they bringing some devices with Snapdragon 888+ chipset.

Rest of the Specs

Taking about the cameras, OnePlus has partnered with Hasselblad from OnePlus 9 series. So we will also see some Hasselblad works in the camera department of the OnePlus 9T. It will come with a quad-camera setup on the back. Instead of 48MP main sensors as on the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro, it will feature a 108MP primary sensor. The remaining three lenses will be an ultrawide lens, a monochrome lens, and a macro camera.

Other specs include an E4 AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. It will have a  punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera and minimal bezels around the display.

OnePlus 9T Launch Date and Price

OnePlus is yet to confirm the existence of the OnePlus 9T. However, the different tipster claims that the device will debut in Q3 2021, probably in October. It might start at $799 (~NPR 9600) in the US for the base variant when it launches there.
