Finally, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 9RT in India. It was launched in China on October 14 with some major upgrades in performance, cooling system, display, and camera over the OnePlus 9R. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the OnePlus 9RT in Nepal.

Display and Design

OnePlus 9RT comes with a 6.62-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display. The panel has a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and features a left-aligned punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600Hz touch sampling rate. Further, it features “4D” haptic feedback which enhances the gaming experience.

OnePlus 9RT Design and Display

The phone has a similar back design to OnePlus Nord 2 and the OnePlus 9R with some slight changes in a camera module. Similarly, customers can choose between three different color options: Black, Blue, and Silver.

Camera

Here, you get a triple camera setup on the back. The setup has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor which was used as an ultrawide lens in 9 and 9 Pro. It has 1.0µm pixels and features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by a 16MP ultrawide lens which can take 123-degree shots.

OnePlus 9RT Camera Setup

Completing the setup is a 2MP macro sensor. Similarly, it has a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor for taking selfies and video calling. It features EIS and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. Moreover, you can record up to 4k videos at 60fps for the rear camera.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the OnePlus 9RT packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. It is a 5nm chipset with an octa-core CPU having 2.84Ghz of maximum clock speed. Similarly, Adreno 660 GPU handles the graphics. On the software front, it runs on Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 on top.

The device is available with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Taking about its cooling system, it has a 59% larger heat sink (compared with the OnePlus 9) which increases the heat dissipation by 20%.

Powering the phone is the same 4500mAh two-cell battery. It supports 65W fast charging which OnePlus calls “Warp Charge 65T”. Other features include an optical under-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. Furthermore, it supports 5G, 4G LTE, (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC.
