Finally, Nothing has launched its first product – the Nothing Ear (1). Taking about Nothing, it is a UK-based company started by Carl Pei (co-founder of OnePlus). Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Nothing Ear 1 n Nepal.

Design

Here, Nothing Ear 1 comes with a unique transparent design. Both earbuds and charging case are made up of clear plastic which allows you to see the internal of earbuds buds as well as the charging case.

The earbuds measure 28.9 x 21.5 x 23.5 mm (height x width x thickness) and weigh around 4.7g (without case). As per the charging case, it measures 58.6 x 58.6 x 23.7 mm and weighs 57.4g (without earbuds).

Audio

The earbuds feature a single 11.6mm dynamic driver inside the 0.34cc chamber. Also, it has 3 high-definition microphones for better noise cancellation.

Here, Nothing has divided the Noise cancelation into two levels. With transparency mode, you can hear the surrounding without taking the earbuds off while you can also turn on ANC (Active Noise Cancelation) to remove the surrounding noise.

Features

You can pair the Nothing Ear (1) with both Android and IOS devices using an application. It allows you to control different features such as touch gestures, EQ, ANC, and software updates.

Moving on, the earbuds have support for Bluetooth 5.2 (A2DP/AVRCP/HFP) connectivity. It is also IPX4 splash-proof.

Rest of the Specs

According to Nothing, the earbuds can last up to 4 hours with ANC enables and up to 5.7 hours with ANC disables. With a fully charged case, you can get up to 34 hours of playtime. It supports both wired (Type-C) and wireless charging.

Inside the box, you get a pair of earbuds with different sized ear tips, a Wireless charging case, a USB-C cable, and safety information & a user guide.

The Nothing Ear 1 is priced at $99 / €99 / £99 / INR 5,999 (US / Europe / UK / India). It will be available in 45 different countries from July 31 through Nothing’s official website in limited quantities. Nothing has said that they will wider their availability from August 17. If it launches in Nepal, we expect the Nothing Ear 1 to start at around NPR 14,999 in Nepal.
