Display and Design

Let’s start with the display, the Micromax IN 1 sport a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display has 440 nits of maximum brightness, 395-PPI density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is a center-aligned punch-hole cutout at the front which houses a selfie camera. It has quite minimal bezels and chin.

The phone measure 165.2 x 77 x 9mm and weighs 195g. It has a rectangular camera module that looks quite similar to IN Note 1. There is in branding at the bottom. It is available in two color options: Blue and Purple.

Camera

The triple camera setup on the IN 1 includes a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. It is followed by two 2MP macro and depth cameras for macro shots and depth data.

On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The phone record 1080p videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.

Performance and Memory

Micromax IN 1 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. It is the same chipset we saw in Redmi 9 Prime. The chipset has 2x 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 & 6x 1.8GHz Cortex-A55 CPU and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It runs on Android 10.

The phone has two storage variants, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Since the phone has a triple card slot, you can further expand the storage using a microSD card.

Battery and Other Specs

Fueling the phone with a massive 5000mAh battery supports up to 18W of fast charging. Also, it supports reverse charging via a Type-C port.

As per connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and FM Radio. It has a USB Type-C 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Micromax IN 1 will go on sale on March 26 in India through the company’s official website. It costs INR 9,999 for the 4/64GB variant and INR 11,499 for the 6/128GB variant. Since Micromax IN officially entered Nepal, they might launch the device in the Nepali market soon. The expected price of the Micromax IN 1 in Nepal is NPR 16,999 for the base variant of 4/64GB.
