Huawei Mate X2 photo leaked before its launch

The Huawei Mate X2 virtual launch event is happening today in China. The device will be launched as the successor to Huawei Mate X. It will have similar folding to Galaxy Z fold 2. If you remember, Mate X has an out-folding design. The bezels will be thinner have has better hinge as compared with previous-gen Mate X.

The device will have an 8.01-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 2222 pixels.  There will be another 6.45-inch AMOLED display which is similar to the Galaxy Z fold cover display. The main 8.01-inch panel will have a 90Hz refresh rate while the cover panel will have a regular 60Hz refresh rate.

The Mate X2 will feature a Kirin 9000 chipset based on 5nm process technology. The chipset has integrated a 5G modem for 5G connectivity. It will be available with two storage options: 8GB RAM 256GB Storage and 8GB RAM 512GB of storage. Source says it will have a 4400mAh battery which supports fast-charging up to 66W via USB Type-C port.

The Huawei Mate X2 might start at CNY17,999 for the 256GB model and 18,999 for the 512GB model. The device will be unveiled in China today via a virtual event. The expected price of Huawei Mate X2 in Nepal is NPR3,30,000 for the 256GB model. and NPR3,50,000 for the 512GB model.
