A couple of days back, Vivo sub-brand iQOO launched the iQOO 9 series in China. The series consists of two devices: iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. Here, iQOO 9 Pro brings a sharp display, a better ultrawide lens, and so on. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the iQOO 9 Pro in Nepal.

iQOO 9 Pro Overview:

Display and Design

iQOO 9 Pro sports a 6.78-inch display with a QHD+ resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. It makes use of the LTPO 2.0 panel which can dynamically vary the refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. Similarly, it has a 10-bit color depth and supports HDR10+ contents. Moreover, it has a punch hole cutout for a selfie camera.

The handset has a big island on the back that houses a three-camera and a LED flash. It comes in two color options: Orange and White (BMW M branding). Unfortunately, it misses out on IP certification but retains stereo speakers setup.

Camera

At the back, there is a triple camera setup. The setup is led by a 50MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and gimbal OIS. It is accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 150-degree field of view (recently it was featured in Realme GT 2 Pro). At last, there is a 16MP telephoto lens with OIS and 2.5x optical zoom.

Upfront, you get a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.5 aperture. The phone can record up to 8k videos at 30fps while the front camera is capable of recording up to 1080p@30fps.

Performance and Memory

Running the show is a Snapdragon Gen 1 chipset. It is a 4nm-based 5G chipset that is becoming popular among Android flagships nowadays. It has an octa-core CPU with 3Ghz of peak frequency. Similarly, graphics are handled by Adreno 730 GPU.

The phone is available with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage. The 12GB RAM variant also has an additional 512GB storage option. On the software front, it runs on Android 12 with Origin OS Ocean on top.

Fueling the phone is a 4700mAh battery. It supports 120W wire charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Similarly, it features an optical under display fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C 2.0 port. Moreover, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC.

iQOO 9 Pro Price in Nepal and Availability

iQOO 9 Pro will be available in China from January 12. It retails at CNY 4,999 for the 8/256GB model. Similarly, the 12/256GB and 12/512GB variants cost CNY 5,499 and CNY 5,999 respectively. We expect the iQOO 9 Pro price in Nepal to start around NPR 99,999 if it launches in Nepal.
