Honor has added a new device to the X30 series –the Honor X30. It is a mid-range phone with average specs and 5G connectivity. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Honor X30 in Nepal.

Honor X30 Overview:
Display and Design
Honor X30 comes with a huge 6.8-inch display. Unfortunately, it uses IPS LCD technology with is hard to accept in midrange phones. However, it supports a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, there is a tiny punch hole cutout that houses a selfie camera.
The handset has quite familiar to some of Huawei’s flagship phones. It has a circular camera module that consists of a triple camera setup, LED flash, and some text in the middle of it. Furthermore, it is available in four different color options: Black, Blue, Gold, and Silver.
Camera
As I mentioned earlier, you get a camera setup on the back. However, it doesn’t consist of a camera setup that a typical midrange or even a budget phone packs. The camera setup on the X30 is led by a 48MP main sensor which is accompanied by a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras.
Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.5 aperture inside the punch hole cutout. Moreover, it can only record up to 1080p videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.

Performance and Memory
Under the hood, Honor X30 packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset based on 6nm technology. It is a 5G chipset with an octa-core CPU having 2.2GHz of maximum frequency. Graphics are handled by Adreno 619 GPU.
The phone is available with either 6GB, 8GB, 12 of RAM. The 6GB RAM has 128GB of internal storage whereas you can choose between 128GB or 256GB storage with the 8GB RAM model and the 12GB RAM comes with 256GB storage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a MicroSD card slot (also a 3.5mm headphone jack).

Fueling the phone is a decent 4800mAh battery. It supports 66W fast charging and Honor claims it can charge the phone from 0-80% in just 30 minutes. On the software front, it runs on Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 on top. Similarly, the phone features 5G, 4G LTE, (2.4/5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0 port.

Honor X30 Price in Nepal and Availability
Honor X30 will be available in China from December 25. It costs CNY 1,499 for the 6/128GB configuration and goes up to CNY 2,299 for the 12/256GB variant. We expect the Honor X30 price in Nepal to start at around NPR 29,999 if and when it launches in Nepal.
