The device sports a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels which results in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a dew-drop notch at the top which houses a selfie camera. Bezels and chin are quite noticeable which is absolutely fine for budget phones.

It measure 165 x 75 x 10mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 212g. There is a square camera module at the back which holds the dual camera and a LED flash. The phone has a triple card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB 2.0 port.

The Gionee Max Pro flaunts a dual-camera setup at the back. It has a 13MP primary lens accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.
