Samsung Galaxy M51 is launched in Nepal: Best Under 40K?

Samsung launched the Galaxy M51 in Nepal as a successor to the Galaxy M50. The phone has different eye-catching features like a 7000mAh battery and a 64MP quad-camera setup which makes it the best under 40K in Nepal. Here we will discuss the specs, features, and price of the Samsung Galaxy M51 in Nepal.

Overview:

Camera

Let’s start by taking on camera, Galaxy M51 comes with a quad-camera at the back with the primary lens of 64MP with aperture f/1.8 & PDAF, 12MP ultrawide lens with aperture f/2.2 & 1230 Field of View, 5MP depth sensor with aperture f/2.4 and 5MP macro lens with aperture f/2.4. This camera set-up and camera quality are best among other phones in a similar price category. Galaxy M51 is capable of recording 4k@30fps and 1080p@30fps.

The punch hole cut-out at the front holds a 32MP selfie camera. This sensor is capable of recording 4k@30fps and 1080p@30fps. Unfortunately, there is no EIS available for the selfie camera.

Design and Built Quality

Taking about the design, Galaxy M51 is a plastic phone which Samsung calls a “glastic” body. There is no metal frame as well, we have to compromise with a same plastic frame which we are seeing in almost all Samsung’s budget phones.

There is a rectangular camera cut-out at the back and a punch-hole cut-out at the front for the selfie camera. It is available in 2 colors: Black and Blue. Its design is not good as other Chinese phones but most of you use cases in our phone so the back design isn’t a huge deal.

Display

Galaxy M51 features a 6.7” 1080P 60Hz Super AMOLED Plus panel with ~86.7% screen to body ratio. This panel comes with ~393 PPI density and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Its display is protected by weak gorilla glass 3+ whereas its competitors are using gorilla glass 5. But this is the display for a budget phone. If you are a multimedia consumer then you must be looking at this phone.

Performance and Memory

Performance has been a weak point of most Samsung budget phones but this time Samsung surprised us with QUALCOMM Snapdragon 730G which is found on other budget phones like Poco X2. With this chipset, we can expect similar performance of M51 with other competing Chinese phones.

Galaxy M51 has 6 or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB of storage. The phone also has a triple card shot so you expand your storage via a microSD card too.

Battery

The battery is the highlight feature of every M series device. If you remember, galaxy M30s was packed with a huge 6000mAh battery but with M51 we get an even bigger 7000mAh battery which is the biggest battery among all other Samsung phones including flagship phones like Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

battery m51

This phone support 25W fast wired charging which is very necessary for charging this huge battery and the charge is also included in the box, unlike iPhone 12 Series. If we go through the advertisement then this 25W charger can fully charge this phone from 0-100% in 115 minutes.
